Trump Disgusting Bedroom Routine Leaves Folks Gagging and Zooming In on His Alleged Messy Secret

The author of one of the most infamous biographies about Donald Trump, 79, is exposing more secrets about the president’s strange eating habits during his initial stay at the White House.

Veteran journalist Michael Wolff, 72, says the behind-the-scenes behavior went far beyond the usual fast-food obsession, drifting into territory that sounded less presidential and more like a chaotic late-night dorm room routine.

And just when the public thought they’d heard every bizarre Trump anecdote possible, Wolff insists there’s still more to unpack from inside the residence.

“So does Trump himself have disordered eating?” host Joanna Coles, 63, asked Wolff on the latest episode of The Daily Beast’s “Inside Trump’s Head” podcast, which dropped on Nov. 28.

Wolff responded, “I would say if orderly eating is somewhat of a broad palate, he certainly does [have disordered eating]. I mean, it’s incredibly limited. I mean, it’s basically limited to beef.”

Trump is famously unapologetic about his love for fast food, often singling out burgers from McDonald’s and Wendy’s as favorites. Apparently, his first term as president of the United States from 2017 to 2020 included behind-the-scenes commotion at the White House over his habit of eating in the bedroom of the Executive Mansion.

“I know when he got to the White House in 2017, there was some kind of major kerfuffle about this because he didn’t like to eat in the dining room. He liked to eat in his bedroom … in the bed, I suppose,” Wolff told Coles.

“I’m not up to date on this, so perhaps he’s been more socialized,” Wolff explained when Coles directly asked him if Trump eats in bed before adding, “When he originally got there, it really sounded like he was like the feral child.”

Wolff’s retelling of Trump’s alleged bedroom habits while living in the White House follows a recent Tabloid claim about the former reality television show star reportedly leaving his guest room at England’s Windsor Castle a complete mess.

Trump and his 55-year-old wife, first lady Melania Trump, traveled to the United Kingdom in September for an official state visit — but he didn’t leave the room the way he found it.

“It was takeout boxes, tanning sprays, and hair products everywhere,” an unnamed supposed source revealed to the gossip outlet RadarOnline about how Trump allegedly left his room at the royal residence in the U.K.

Allegedly, “The bathroom was littered with bottles, the sinks stained, and his bed sheets had been left completely orange from whatever he uses. People were horrified. This was Windsor Castle, not a roadside motel.”

Viewers of the “Inside Trump’s Head” podcast made the connection between Wolff exposing Trump’s habit of irritating White House staff by eating in bed and the allegations that the president ruined the bedding in his Windsor Castle suite.

“I read that after Trump’s visit to Windsor Castle, King Charles’ housekeeping staff were horrified at the disgusting state Trump left his room in,” read a comment on The Daily Beast’s YouTube channel.

One reply stated, “Yes, I heard that too, and it just disgusted me because they came to England with huge cargo planes and at least three helicopters and yet, they couldn’t manage to have a few of his people wrangle Hefty bags and clean up after their piggy.”

The commenter continued by adding, “Mind you, I grew up with a mother who made the beds in hotels before the cleaners came, but still, he’s such an embarrassing slob.” Others joined in on ridiculing the MAGA leader.

“It is the reason why they call him stinky!! With that diet of predominantly processed red meat, bread, sugar, salt, crème, gelatine, fries, etc., he would be a serious farter, and it would stink,” someone suggested, referring to the constant rumors that Trump often has a bad odor.

Yet another YouTube user wrote, “It actually speaks to the gluttony that permeates all things Trump.” A like-minded individual replied, “You probably have to wait a week to enter a bathroom visited by this behemoth. He’s the epitome of uncouth.”

The fact that Wolff is exposing the president’s alleged bad habits likely isn’t sitting well with the current White House. Back in 2018, Trump’s legal team tried to block the release of Wolff’s book, “Fire and Fury,” which detailed the alleged chaos inside his first administration.

The legal fight between Wolff and the Trump family raged on in 2025 when the ex-freelance contributor to USA Today countersued Melania.
