Nicki Minaj Reacts To Keke Palmer

For context, earlier this week, Keke Palmer appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.’ During the interview, she recalled advice Nicki Minaj gave her at The Met Gala and even threw in a hilarious impression of the rapper.

Shortly after the interview aired, Nicki Minaj hopped on X (formerly Twitter) with a message for Keke. Her post left some fans confused because she wrote, “Oh, what a Ki… Ki… Umm why would she even tell that story? doesn’t she know that could mess up the whole ‘bad guy’ thing? Let’s see if she still laughin when she get hit w/ that cease and desist chi – the bad guy Chun Ki… ki…”

So far, Keke Palmer hasn’t said anything about Nicki’s comment.

The Roommates and the Barbz jumped into The Shade Room’s comment section, trying to figure out Nicki’s vibe. Some said the Harajuku Barbie was just being sarcastic, while others felt she might’ve been shading Keke. Additionally, other social media users thought Nicki’s words were weird considering that Keke didn’t say anything bad about her.

Here’s What Keke Previously Said About Nicki

While chopping it up with Jimmy Fallon, Keke Palmer shared a throwback story about running into Nicki Minaj at The Met Gala. She explained that they’d already connected because Nicki hooked her up with a photographer for her maternity shoot. Keke added that she though the event was the perfect moment to show her some love and say thanks.

“So I walk over there and she’s like ‘You, I need to talk to you hold on.’ And I’m like I done did something. Nicki bout to cuss me out at The Met Gala,” Keke says while Fallon laughs.

Keke continued to recall that she waited to see what Nicki was going to say.

“And then she’s like look, I don’t read the press. I don’t know everything that’s going on, but I just wanna tell you, nobody knows what its like when we turn off the lights so we gotta be with ourselves. So, you do whatever you need to do to be good with you! And I was like YEAH! I love the speech,” Keke said while impersonating Nicki.
