Ray J Says Chris Brown Halted Beef, Hazel-E Names Diddy’s Sons

What’s really going on? That’s the question most folks are asking themselves after reports surfaced of Ray J beefing with Diddy‘s sons. When Ray finally spoke on the speculations, he didn’t outright name-drop those involved, but confirmed that Chris Brown stepped in to prevent an altercation between him and about eight others. Meanwhile, Hazel-E didn’t hesitate to reveal that the “sons” involved in the incident were allegedly Quincy, Christian, and Justin Combs.

Ray J Shares His Side Of The Story

TMZ first broke the story about an alleged altercation between Ray J and Diddy’s sons at a Halloween party in Los Angeles. Citing sources, the outlet noted that the heated confrontation happened over the weekend. Additionally, TMZ’s reporting stated that aside from chest-bumping and being in each other’s faces, nothing happened—thanks to Breezy and Ray J’s manager, David. This is reportedly the third time and setting that Diddy’s boys have allegedly confronted Ray over comments about their dad.

Speaking to Wack 100 and others in a video call, Ray J admitted that Chris Brown prevented a recent altercation. He didn’t name-drop Quincy, Christian, or Justin but implied in his answers to Wack’s questions that they were involved. “I tried to talk some sense into what happened. But luckily, the homie Chris was there,” Ray J said.

The singer also repeatedly asked Wack 100 not to post this particular conversation online. However, Wack repeatedly said he would. Also, in their conversation, Ray denied Wack’s request to “put the other stuff out,” saying that “they [are] too young.” At this time, Breezy hasn’t confirmed or denied his involvement.

Hazel-E Names Diddy’s Sons As The “Others” Involved

Speaking to TMZ in Calabasas, Hazel-E explained what she witnessed at the party between Ray J and others. The reality TV star didn’t hold back in confirming Quincy, Christian and Justin’s involvement. Hazel claims things got heated while she, Amber Rose, and Ray’s manager, David Weintraub, prepared to leave the Halloween party.

Suddenly, Quincy, Christian, and Justin allegedly started circling Ray-J, per Hazel. She said they exchanged words, and things escalated to chest bumping, pushing, and a “pull up the pants kind of vibe” as they entered a parking garage. Her worries about possible gunshots ringing out from the incident didn’t last long, though.

She confirmed that Chris Brown immediately hopped out of his car and helped diffuse the situation while she also tried to calm Diddy’s sons. Breezy grabbed Justin and Christian, while Hazel-E says she grabbed Quincy, and a security guard and manager grabbed Ray. Hazel-E added that Ray J’s emotions were running high after the altercation because he felt “pressed” by kids while being an OG in the entertainment industry.

Ray’s Manager Speaks Out

Meanwhile, Ray’s manager, David, told the outlet that the event was “the party of the year.” As the videographer tried to inquire about what happened between Ray J and Diddy’s sons, David cut him off.

“Nobody’s gonna press Ray J,” David said. “Anyone can come and try to press Ray, but it’s not gonna happen. That was an unfortunate incident and it was a great party that got ruined by little kids trying to fight a big boy. And sometimes you can’t just have that happen.”

He added that the entire incident was “unnecessary” and said, “Everybody’s all family no matter what people are dealing with in the world…there’s no reason for anybody to be fighting.”

As previously reported, Diddy’s sons have shown a strong sense of support for their father since his arrest in September. The super producer remains behind bars in Brooklyn, awaiting the start of his trial in 2025 for sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution charges. Most recently, Quincy, Christian, Justin, and their sisters, Chance, D’Lila, and Jessie, released a joint statement about sticking beside their dad.
