Porsha Williams Says Fear Of ‘Foreclosure’ Led Her To Divorce
Porsha Williams seemingly aired out everything about her ex Simon Guobadia except why she filed for divorce… until now. “I’m not going to let a foreclosure notice come to my house,” she told her divorce attorney. And, of course, her estranged ex has plenty of clapbacks to contest her comments. “Whose assets need protecting, again?” he asked with documentation alleging he still pays Porsha’s mortgage, homeowner’s insurance, utilities and lawn care.

An exclusive preview from Season 16 of RHOA played at the #NoFilter Panel during Bravo Fan Fest on Nov. 23, showing Porsha open up about the divorce. The new teaser revealed that she decided to split after only 15 months of marriage because she supposedly suspected Simon’s money was funny.
Porsha wasn’t just spinning the block on Bravo this season. She also returned to the same attorney who represented her against her ex-husband Kordell Stewart. The cameras followed her to Randy Kessler’s office to discuss her decision to divorce again after multiple weddings with Simon.
“It is definitely crazy having to call Randy again and saying, ‘I’ve got to file for divorce.’ My divorce from Simon, I haven’t dealt with the emotional part yet. I’ve had to deal with logistics. It’s really weird. It feels really cold,” she recalled in a confessional.
Comparing her two marriages with Randy, Porsha reflected on learning her lesson to do things differently, like locking down a prenup.
“In this case I was smart enough to do a prenup and do it the right way. I had to be more responsible this go round because I have a child,” she said about Pilar, the daughter she shares with Dennis McKinley.
#RHOA fans will recall how devastated Porsha was when Kordell packed her up and put her out during their split. While she claims she expected happily ever after with Simon, she was prepared (and protected) for anything.
“In my relationship with Simon, I felt like that if I had him by my side we could conquer anything. However, I started just realizing a lot of different things that turned out to be untruths,” she continued in a confessional.
Porsha Williams Says She Filed For Divorce From Simon Guobadia Because Of Fearing “Foreclosure”
The Go Naked Hair founder went on to describe to Randy how the finances ruined her romance with Simon. She never denied whether Simon was a successful businessman. However, Porsha cast doubt about the details, accusing her estranged husband of keeping her in the dark.
“He wouldn’t tell me what our finances were. I’m not gonna let a foreclosure notice come to my house and I can’t pay it. I wanted to make sure if it happens, I have the money to help us do what we need to do,” she explained.
According to Porsha, she filed for divorce “to protect assets,” and although Porsha claims they have a “50/50” interest in the home, Simon contested her right to film on the property.
“Our home is very important to me. It literally was what we both wanted when we envisioned the future… I have definitely made it a home,” she added.
During the #NoFilter Panel, Porsha celebrated that she won the court battle to film RHOA at home. “You can’t be a housewife without a house!” she said, updating the audience.
Welp, if Simon has anything to say about it, Porsha wouldn’t have either title. And, as usual, he had plenty to say, checking his ex’s “50/50” facts while he pays “100%” of the house bills.

Simon Guobadia Runs The #RHOA Receipts About The Residence He Reportedly Bought Before Marrying Porsha Williams
Simon wasted no time setting the record straight on Porsha’s accusations about his accounts. He took to Instagram to tell his ex exactly what she needs to do if she really believes he’s broke: stop living off of his pockets!
In the comments of The Neighborhood Talk’s post about Porsha’s preview from RHOA, he said her claims didn’t add up.
“I would never fight to live in a house about to be foreclosed on with my clan, especially one I have no equitable interest in. Make the narrative make sense,” he responded.
Simon shut down the “50/50” claims about the house, “purchased with 100% of my earnings and titled 100% in my name.”
“Concerned about my finances?
Please waive the Fulton County court order that grants your temporary stay in my home purchased with 100% of my earnings and titled 100% in my name- before marriage.
He laid out that the order forces him to “pay mortgage, homeowner’s insurance, utilities, lawn care” for Porsha’s family, meanwhile his own doesn’t even live there. “Whose assets need protection again?” he asked, in a now-deleted Instagram post.
Simon repeatedly accused Porsha of using her platform to spread lies, so he included the court order in the carousel. Some comments dragged him for leaving the address visible, but his caption stated that he’s standing on business by releasing “evidence.”
“My goal until a final resolution is reached in my pending divorce is release evidence that refutes any attempt at distorting factual events, humiliating me or my legacy, in a public setting. If an amendment needs to be made to any legal action already filed, I will instruct my attorneys to do so. Stay tuned.
He also denied doing anything wrong by including Porsha’s address because their court documents and information have been public for years. He also asked why concerned fans don’t have the same energy and empathy about protecting his two children.
“FYI – If you own a home, you would already know your home address is public record. My address has been part of public record and shared by Bloggers since November 2021. Spare me the shock and I will spare you your ignorance,” he added.
When one comment asked why their prenup didn’t stipulate rules about allowing Porsha to live in his house, Simon admitted it was his “mistake.”
“I regret every waking moment,” wrote Simon.
Whew, no matter what Porsha hints is or isn’t in Simon’s pockets, he remains ready to clap back with receipts!
In a strange way, this neverending petty party proves that Porsha really did meet her match. Whenever one of these exes goes low, the other seems ready to go to hell like Kendrick.
