LeBron James & Charles Barkley Publicly Support Caitlin Clark
LeBron James and Charles Barkley recently showed their support for WNBA rookie Caitlin Clark, prompting social media to share various reactions.
HuffPost reports that the LA Laker gave four words of advice to Clark. Additionally, Barkley defended the Indiana Fever player from “petty women.”

LeBron Discusses Caitlin Clark
Both ladies have been thrust into the spotlight since Clark and Angel Reese’s 2023 faceoff for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship title. Furthermore, they both received love and hate online.
LeBron recently discussed Clark on his podcast ‘Mind the Game’ with former NBA player and analyst JJ Redick. As the two chatted about the negativity Clark experiences from the public, Bron lent his support to the 6’0 guard. Additionally, he offered words of encouragement.
The 39-year-old advised Cailtin to “put [her] blinders on.”
“Go to work, show up to work, punch your clock in, prepare yourself…” he added. Additionally, Lebron said it is best to “keep your mouth shut… and just learn from the vets.” Furthermore, James said that he was “rooting for Caitlin.”
“Caitlin Clark is the reason a lot of great things is gonna happen for the WNBA,” Lebron stated.
Barkley Chimes In With Defense Of Caitlin As Social Media Reacts
Before the Western Final Conference Finals tipoff, Barley, the retired NBA vet, responded to LeBron’s statements. He said, “Y’all petty man… Hey, Lebron, you’re 100% right on these girls hating on Caitlin Clark — You all are petty girls,” Charles stated.
The men received backlash and support for their words in The Shade Room’s comment section.
@simplyvedaaa wrote, “I hate how yall be doing Angel Reese as if that girl didn’t bring the same impact to the game. Angel Reese & Caitlin Clark BOTH brought more eyes to the WNBA.”
