After starting the biggest rap beef in hip-hop history, Future is seemingly beefing with Gunna ahead of his upcoming album release.
Future and Metro Boomin’s albums We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200. With that much music, you would think Future and Company would set their sights on preparing for the upcoming “We Trust You” tour.
According to Future’s latest tweets tour preparation can wait as he has more music for the people. In a bizarre set of tweets, he proclaims his mixtape is better than an unnamed artist’s upcoming album.
The tweet left many on social media assuming he was talking about the extra tracks at the end of We Still Don’t Trust You that were deemed a mixtape. To the shock of many he wasn’t talking about those loose songs he was referring to another Mixtape he plans to release.
Future finally confirmed he will be dropping a new mixtape on May 10th. Furthermore, this helped social media pinpoint whose album he was subtweeting in previous posts.
Previously, Gunna announced his second album since being released on an Alford Plea in the YSL RICO case would be released on May 10th. No other albums from any high-profile rappers are set to release that day so clearly he is talking about Gunna. Future and Young Thug had beef early into Thug’s career but became friends releasing their joint album Super Slimey. Unless Drake has a surprise album Gunna is the only person Pluto could be talking about.
Which project will you listen to first Future’s mixtape or Gunna’s One of Wun?
