Fans now say sorry to J. Cole after backing out of rap beef

Many fans are backtracking on their original biting criticisms of rap star J. Cole who apologized while backing out of the bitter beef involving Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

K. Dot and Drizzy have been spitting fire at each other in one of the most anticipated and engrossing — and vicious — rap battles in modern musical history.

J. Cole dropped a diss record in response to Kendrick Lamar’s original smackdown track “Like That.” But after returning fire on “7 Minute Drill,” J. Cole admitted that tumult stirred in his soul. At the Dreamville Music Festival in early April, J. Cole renounced his own record.

J. Cole apologized to Kendrick Lamar after dropping diss track

“I was conflicted because, [for] one, I know my heart and I know how I feel about my peers,” Cole admitted. “These two n—- that I’ve just been blessed to even stand beside in this game, let alone chase [their] greatness. So, I felt conflicted ‘cause I’m like, bruh, I don’t even feel no way. But the world wanna see blood. I don’t know if y’all can feel that, but the world wanna see blood. That s— disrupts my f—ing peace.”

Cole was subsequently drenched from the torrent of criticisms aimed at him by fans. But he stood his ground and bowed out of the fight.

Now fans surmise that Cole may have made the right decision. Some have even apologized to Cole after pummeling him.
