One day after a security guard was shot in a drive-by outside Drake’s $100M Toronto Home an intruder was detained after an attempted break-in.
After ending his “It’s All A Blur” tour Drake reportedly planned a vacation to celebrate his last project and tour. Since his tour ended life has come at Drake so fast that his vacation has been placed on pause until further notice. Even with Drizzy knee-deep in a rap feud with Kendrick Lamar who has his foot on his neck, his Homefront has suffered chaos as well.
On May 7, a security guard for the 100 million dollar Toronto mansion suffered a gunshot to the chest during a drive-by. Police allegedly have the shooting on camera but the quality is questionable.
According to ABC News, things are not looking any better after an intruder was caught breaking into his Toronto fortress a day after the drive-by shooting. Unlike the previous incident, police were able to detain the suspect with a hold for mental health issues. Given the current climate with Drake and his several rap beefs the timing of these incidents is concerning.
However, the motive for the shooting is still the main question for police. Hopefully, Drake can get that vacation soon because he has a lot to take a break from. Unfortunately home hasn’t been the safe place for him it usually is.
