What Did Thugger Mean By THIS Birthday Post?

Mariah the Scientist brought in her 28th birthday on Tuesday (October 27). It’s unclear how she celebrated, but throughout her day, she reposted sweet birthday wishes from loved ones on her Instagram Story. One video shows her and friends flexing their icy wrists! Two messages she didn’t repost? Young Thug’s. The rapper shared a blurry photo with his ex-girlfriend on his Instagram Story, writing “Bday girl” with several emojis. Young Thug also took to his IG timeline with a side-view photo of Mariah. His caption said, “Happy bday baby mama me luv u.” 

What Happened Between Young Thug & Mariah The Scientist?

As mentioned, it’s only been a few weeks since Thugger told the internet that he and the ‘Burning Blue’ singer split. In late September, he joined Adin Ross for a stream and during a segment about dating he said he got “broken up with.” Still, Thugger insisted, “But I still got a girl — she probably don’t got a boyfriend, but I got a girl.” Mariah the Scientist seemingly paid his words dust, giving no public response to his comments.

The break-up happened after a series of leaked jail calls surfaced online in September. Thugger was heard making shady comments about several entertainers from GloRilla to Gunna and Future. In one audio file, Young Thug laughed as he admitted to cheating on Mariah in 2022, shortly before his arrest on RICO charges. Another clip heard him telling another woman that he loves her. Despite two apologies, the only apparent response she gave online was posting some of her own song lyrics from ‘Rainy Dayz.’

Meanwhile, in The Shade Room’s comment section, nearly 5,000 roommates weighed in on Young Thug’s message for Mariah. And the vibe? It’s giving the roommies aren’t on his side!
