A Shaken Jamie Lee Curtis Accuses Trump of ‘Abuse’ After His Latest Burst of Petty Name-Calling Toward Reporter
Oscar Award-winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis has an opinion about President Donald Trump‘s recent bad behavior, and she is not afraid to share it.
The “Halloween” star did not hold back when voicing her disapproval of Donny’s mistreatment of reporters, pointing directly to his recent takedown of a female journalist aboard Air Force One.
While being asked questions aboard the aircraft on Nov. 14, Trump called Bloomberg News White House correspondent Catherine Lucey “piggy” as he told her to be quiet.
Lucey had tried to ask a follow-up question after Trump called on another reporter, and he pointed his finger directly at her while he griped, “Quiet! Quiet, piggy.”
The “Freaky Friday” star also took a swipe at the 79-year-old’s petulant behavior during the discussion, contrasting it with the late Princess Diana’s lasting kindness and influence in the U.K. — and drawing a pointed comparison to Trump’s far more polarizing impact on the U.S.
“Well, in my country, I believe it is because I think that his wagging his finger at a woman, calling her ‘piggy’ is going to — has woken us up to an unacceptable behavior that we cannot have be the legacy of the United States of America,” she said as a guest on UK’s “This Morning” show on Nov. 25.
“That the leader of our country would, would say that and do that to a woman,” she added.

The actress has been a longtime critic of the president. She actively spoke out against him during his presidential campaigns in 2016 and 2024, and Curtis made a prediction about Trump’s future.
“Regardless of the fact that he’s a convicted person,” she added. “I’m talking that it’s funny, the straw that breaks the camel’s back, you never expect. And I think that unhinged moment of his abuse and vile behavior, um, is going to be his undoing.”
Reactions on social media seemed to agree with Curtis and her assessment of Trump’s antics. One user wrote, “Mr. Trump IS the epitome of a biased and unprofessional person who apparently has no idea of his actions and how they reflect on our country and our honor.”
Another user called out Curtis for her reaction to the passing of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Kirk was shot to death while discussing gun violence with a crowd in Orem, Utah, in September.
The 66-year-old actress was in tears during an appearance on “WTF With Marc Maron” as she said that while she “disagreed with him on almost every point I ever heard him say,” she hoped Kirk “felt connected to his faith” when he passed.

After her Trump comment, another user called out her tearful reaction to the white nationalist’s untimely passing.
“She broke down crying after Charlie Kirk’s murder, because he was ‘a man of faith!’ Well, Charlie had undying faith in The Donald and would lie through his dentures to support all of Trump’s nefarious agenda!”
