Popeyes launches must-try Five Nights at Freddy’s boxes

The fast-food chain is celebrating the horror film sequel with garlic parmesan tenders, cheesy bites and exclusive collectible stickers

Popeyes is giving horror movie fans something delicious to sink their teeth into before Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 hits theaters next month. The popular chicken chain rolled out a special limited-time menu on Nov. 17 that brings the eerie world of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria straight to your dinner table.

The timing couldn’t be better for fans eagerly awaiting the sequel’s Dec. 5 theatrical debut. With nearly three weeks to enjoy these themed offerings before catching the movie, diners can immerse themselves in the Five Nights universe while satisfying their cravings for comfort food.

What’s on the Freddy Fazbear menu

The collaboration centers around two main bundle options designed to capture the spirit of the film’s fictional pizzeria. The Freddy Fazbear Deluxe Box offers the full experience with three pieces of chicken tenders available in either classic or spicy varieties, all coated with a savory garlic parmesan rub. The box also includes warm, garlic-crusted cheesy bites served alongside marinara dipping sauce, a cupcake cup and a beverage to complete the meal.

For those wanting a slightly smaller portion, the standard Freddy Fazbear Box contains the same garlic parmesan chicken tenders and cheesy bites with marinara sauce, just without the dessert and drink components.

Individual items available too

Guests don’t have to commit to a full bundle to enjoy the new offerings. Popeyes is making select items available for individual purchase. The cheesy bites feature lightly hand-breaded, garlic-crusted cheese curds made with white cheddar cheese, fried until golden and served warm with rich marinara sauce for dipping.

The cupcake cup provides a sweet ending with its moist, strawberry-flavored cake topped with pink icing, echoing the colorful aesthetic fans recognize from the franchise.

Why Popeyes chose this collaboration

Amy Alarcon, vice president of culinary at Popeyes, explained the natural connection between the brand and the film’s setting. Since Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria serves as a central location in the movie, the team saw an opportunity to reimagine that nostalgic pizzeria energy through their own menu creations.

The fast-food chain specifically focused on bold flavors that would appeal to both existing customers and movie fans. By incorporating garlic parmesan seasonings and cheese-forward items, Popeyes created offerings that feel appropriate for a pizzeria setting while maintaining the brand’s signature chicken expertise.

Collectible stickers for superfans

Beyond the food, Popeyes is enhancing the experience with exclusive collectible sticker packs. These limited-quantity items feature the film’s recognizable animatronic characters reimagined as keepsakes. The stickers are available at select Popeyes locations nationwide, though quantities are limited and distribution varies by restaurant.

Other chicken restaurant news

While Popeyes dominates headlines with its movie tie-in, other chicken-focused chains are also introducing new menu items and deals this season. Donatos Pizza plans to launch its Chicken Vegy Parm on Nov. 24, combining creamy parmesan sauce with sliced chicken breast, Roma tomatoes, green peppers, yellow onions, mushrooms, baby spinach, smoked provolone and Romano cheese.

Raise the Roost is preparing a three-day promotion from Nov. 27 through Nov. 29, offering buy-one-get-one-free deals on both chicken sandwiches and chicken biscuits in various flavor options.

Wings and Rings unveiled a winter menu that runs through Jan. 11, 2026, featuring a new creamy garlic asiago wing sauce made with parmesan and asiago cheeses blended with roasted garlic. The restaurant is also introducing two loaded fries varieties, including buffalo bleu cheese and smoky chili cheese options.

Industry expansion continues

The chicken restaurant sector continues growing with Layne’s Chicken Fingers recently signing a 44-unit franchise agreement covering western Texas, San Antonio and the Coastal Bend region. Meanwhile, Wingstop added a new fiery lime flavor combining red chili heat with tangy lime zest, and KFC Canada introduced Festive Fizz, a cranberry bomb that fizzes in clear soda for the holiday season.

The Popeyes Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 menu remains available for a limited time only while supplies last.
