Lil Scrappy Pops Off On Black People Voting For Donald Trump

Lil Scrappy is not here for Black people opting to stand with Donald Trump over his opponent Vice President Kamala Harris. He recently released a passionate video message about voting for the GOP candidate.

This follows Harris’ viral campaigning in downtown Houston, Texas, last week, where Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland gave passionate speeches about a Harris-Tim Walz future.

Here’s What Lil Scrappy Said About Voting

In a message on Monday (Oct. 28), he directed his message at Black men, women, and preachers. He warned folks that he remembers everyone who has claimed they’re voting for Trump. Lil Scrappy added that if the former president wins a second term, he won’t be cool with the Donald supporters.

“Imma remember you, and you not gone be Black to me no more,” he said in the circulating video. “At all. You not gone be Black to me. Don’t try to shake my hand, I’m not going to shake your hand. I’m gon pray for you. That’s what imma do, and if something was to ever happen to your kids one day and the police do it, and they get immunity. I’m not coming to march for you; imma pray for you and your family because you are the reason why it happened,” he said.

Also, he said that it’s “crazy” how voting can “tip” someone over. Scrappy then encouraged his viewers to vote for the right somebody. Watch him explain himself below.

Celebrities have Been Heavily Involved In The Campaigning Process

After Kamala Harris announced her bid for the White House over the summer, celebs really began choosing sides. There have been performances at rallies, like Megan Thee Stallion for Kamala Harris in Atlanta, and even speeches at major political events, like Amber Rose for Donald at the RNC convention.

To keep it brief, Blackness, particularly the Vice President’s heritage, has been one of the central conversations in the last few months—partially fueled by Trump and his campaign but also by social media doubters.

In mid-October, former President Obama also gave an impassioned speech to Black folks, particularly men, who were choosing not to support the vice president’s bid. He later clarified his intention and comments in an exclusive with The Shade Room.

Most recently, Kamala Harris sat with The Shade Room’s Justin Carter to explain how she plans to deliver for Black men, in particular, should she become the next President of the United States.
