Here’s What The Report Alleged About Kenya Moore’s Exit From ‘RHOA’

According to a report published by TMZ on Tuesday, June 25, the outlet obtained exclusive information from “sources with direct knowledge.” The sources alleged that “Kenya will not return as a cast member for the rest of production for the new season (16).”

Additionally, the sources alleged that Bravo did not fire Moore. Instead, she and the company allegedly “agreed she’s just gonna take a break” from the series.

The sources add that Bravo is reportedly keeping the door open for Moore’s return. However, the sources ultimately alleged that Moore is currently “considering legal options” against the company.

Furthermore, Entertainment Tonight reportedly confirmed the update with a source of their own.

“Kenya is not returning to ‘RHOA’ this season. She decided it was best for herself to leave after how she felt the incident was handled and how she was treated,” the source alleged.

According to the source, Moore has not entered talks with the outlet about their desire for her to return to the show.

‘RHOA’ Alum Kandi Burruss Recently Weighed In On The Suspension

As The Shade Room previously reported, Moore was accused of displaying posters of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ newcomer Brittany Eady at a recent event she hosted on June 6. The posters allegedly depicted Eady performing oral sex.

At the time, reports seemed to imply that Moore’s alleged actions prompted Eady to allegedly threaten her with a gun. However, a report published by PEOPLE on June 25 clarified that Moore’s alleged actions arrived after Eady allegedly made that threat toward her.

Eady ultimately denied the accusation, and a “source close to production” confirmed her stance with PEOPLE.

However, in the outlet’s June 25 report, another “insider” alleged that Eady’s “threat was real.”

“Kenya was concerned for her safety… [and] never for one second did Kenya feel like she was being taken seriously for her fears. It’s unfair,” the source reportedly told the outlet.

On Monday, June 24, Streetz Atlanta published an interview with Moore’s former ‘RHOA’ castmate, Kandi Burruss. During the sitdown, Burruss explained that she disagreed with Moore’s suspension from the show, initially reported by Entertainment Tonight on June 14.

Additionally, the ‘RHOA’ alum seemed to imply that Eady “came at” Moore first.

“I know people was like, ‘She shouldn’t have shown that.’ But this is ‘Housewives.’ I mean, how many times we done did stuff that you think somebody shouldn’t do?” Burruss explained. “So, who made the rules? Like, why y’all of a sudden got an issue with somebody doing something crazy to somebody?… If it was in the public, and it was [on] the internet and the girl came at her, then it’s like, ‘Okay, you don’t get to choose how she come back…’”
