Multiple big-name stars have unfollowed Diddy recently
There is a steady exodus of preeminent stars from Diddy’s Instagram account amid the legal and public storms that have turned his once-unassailable empire into a veritable mountain of rubble.
Internet sleuths on Vibe and The Daily Mail have discovered that pop culture stars from the entertainment and athletic realms have unfollowed Diddy in recent days and weeks.
NBA superstar Steph Curry is reportedly the latest to cut ties to the besieged Diddy faces the aftermath of damning evidence of beating Cassie as well as a trove of civil lawsuits. The Daily Mail said Curry even scrubbed Diddy’s name from captions in Curry’s IG account.
While a number of stars remain on Diddy’s IG account, which is 20 million strong, there are plenty of others who have disassociated from the New York-born boss whose real name is Sean Combs.
LeBron James, one of the most recognizable athletes in the world, cut ties to Diddy on IG after spending years hanging with the rap impresario.
Vibe maintains that NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who just won his second consecutive Super Bowl in February, is said to have unfollowed Diddy more than a month ago.
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian, whose world often intersected with Diddy’s orbit, unfollowed Diddy back in March 2024 following a steady succession of sexual lawsuits filed against Diddy by former employees, singers and producers.
Even Diddy’s girlfriend Yung Miami is reportedly gone
The Daily Mail reports that Yung Miami, who has faced a blizzard of criticism from fans due to her affiliation with Diddy, coupled with rumors of illegalities the City Girls group member may have carried out for him, finally separated herself from Diddy. Yung Miami was romantically linked with Diddy and attended iconic events such as the 2022 BET Awards and the 2023 Met Gala with him. But as of this past week, she has unfollowed Diddy.
Meek Mill and Diddy have been musically linked for a couple of decades now. However, their friendship went sour after Diddy’s former producer, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, alleged in his lawsuit that Diddy claimed he had sex with Meek. The Philly-born rapper has vehemently denied this, and this past week stopped following Diddy.
